Post 4 Trebuchet
Our trebuchet's performance in distance was great. We achieved an average distance or 51.06 meters. We could have had a better sling release and trigger system. We planned to remove a great deal of the weight for the accuracy portion so that it wouldn't go as far.

Post 3 trebuchet challenge
The theoretical range of our trebuchet was 1442.30 meters. the actual average distance the ball traveled was 51.06 meters. The reasons our trebuchet didn't go the theoretical range was due to air resistance, gravity, also the wind pushing the ball to the side, and our performance factors were not dial in perfectly. the photo is a picture of our trebuchet ready to fire.

Trebuchet Post 1
Our cardboard trebuchet work very well, it took some time to get it going but then we found the right weight amount. The environmental factors that effected our trebuchets work was gravity and air resistance. the performance factors are the factors of our sling such as the length and the amount of weight we put in the basket; plus the angle of release being one of the more important ones. The picture I was to put on didn't work.

Egg drop, Post two!
Our container was 12 cm/12 cm/ 22cm. it weighed 75.59 grams and fell 5 meters in .99 seconds. The eggs condition was perfect earning us a total 264.9 egg points.the most effective part of our design was the sponges they are light and soft absorbing all the force without adding weight to the container. the least effective part was the weight of the container, if it was lighter we would have gained more points. To make it able to carry two eggs the design of the container would be changed; the two eggs would be half in one sponge (whether the top or bottom, one in each) and the other half of each would be in the middle sponge.

Test day for our container was a success. We each created our own container and they each worked the same, we went with my design because of the weight difference and mine was lighter. First we tested each container at the highest point of the stairs each keeping the eggs in one piece, so we tried a little more force by kicking it at a wall before it fell and it also survived. The only changes we made to the container was added lighter string. (Video by Melissa)

Post Race Reflection.
Our mousetrap car was a nearly gold medal champion! It went over ten meters in all three distance runs and went a little over 17.2m to gain second place in distance! If I could i would us a longer strand of string to move the vehicle! This would make the mouse trap pull the entire way not just three quarters of the way. If i could build an entirely new car i would use a different type of materials. The body of the car would be wooden instead of foam and i would of had a stronger way to attach the wheels. To tweak the car to make it perform better i would tighten the wheels and make the string a little bit longer.

Spring Break.
Physics was applied during spring break in many different ways; but the main way was traveling. We drove back and forth from my dads to my moms multiple times and we were driving around Brandon a lot. Another way physics was is my spring break was through electrical wiring. we ran a couple wires through areas of our house which when they had current running through them would have caused electric fields.
