Future recomendations, trebuchet
Things that went well for our group and trebuchet was that everything worked as it was suppose top and Murfey's law didn't effect us. Future recommendations I have for other teams is to make sure your sling is perfect. the sling is one of the most important pieces of the system and if it is not good your trebuchet will shoot up and backwards.

The accuracy part of the contest was where we did best. We landed two shots both .24 meters away from the targets center. I f there was an opportunity I wouldn't change much, the trebuchet did a good job and only could have made the release a little sooner. If we could rebuild the trebuchet I would only want to change the pouch and make a safer/better working trigger system.
The picture is of the marker we used to show how far away our ball landed.

Post 4 Trebuchet
Our trebuchet's performance in distance was great. We achieved an average distance or 51.06 meters. We could have had a better sling release and trigger system. We planned to remove a great deal of the weight for the accuracy portion so that it wouldn't go as far.

Post 3 trebuchet challenge
The theoretical range of our trebuchet was 1442.30 meters. the actual average distance the ball traveled was 51.06 meters. The reasons our trebuchet didn't go the theoretical range was due to air resistance, gravity, also the wind pushing the ball to the side, and our performance factors were not dial in perfectly. the photo is a picture of our trebuchet ready to fire.
